TEAM PROFILE: MR ALUN PANG (彭欣麟)

Alun Pang is a multi-jurisdictional solicitor with over 20 years of combined professional experience spanning international project management, corporate legal practice and cross-border transactions. One of a small number of practitioners admitted in Hong Kong, New South Wales, New Zealand, the Northern Territory and the Greater Bay Area of the PRC simultaneously, Mr Pang brings a genuinely rare breadth of jurisdictional coverage to his clients.

Mr Pang’s perspective is shaped by two formative in-house roles with leading Hong Kong corporations. As Legal Counsel at Hong Kong Maxim’s Group — the largest food and beverage operator in Hong Kong — he managed all legal matters for multiple restaurant chains and supporting business units, overseeing commercial, property, supply chain and regulatory issues. He advised on overseas joint ventures in Vietnam, Cambodia and Singapore, and played a central role in structuring the Group’s first major international franchise agreement. As Head of Legal and Head of Leasing Administration at Hip Shing Hong Development Co. Ltd. — a property developer with over 75 years of Hong Kong history — he led all legal, leasing and credit control functions, advising on property development compliance, asset acquisition, tenancy disputes and corporate governance.

In private practice, Mr Pang has built a broad cross-border practice that regularly spans commercial transactions, real estate, franchise and distribution law, immigration, estate planning, family law, and civil and criminal litigation across multiple jurisdictions. Since joining the Robinsons Law Group in 2023, he has been actively involved in cross-border mandates connecting Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, China and Southeast Asia — including Korean F&B joint ventures for Asia-Pacific market entry, trademark licensing frameworks across multiple Asia-Pacific jurisdictions, and shareholder dispute resolution in BVI, Hong Kong and Australian corporate structures.Mr Pang advises in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, and provides bilingual legal documentation in Traditional Chinese and English. He is also a Civil Celebrant of Marriages in Hong Kong.
