FIRM INTRODUCTION

Robinsons (AU) Pty Ltd is the Australian practice of the Robinsons, Lawyers — an international network of boutique law firms and associated practices that has been serving clients across Hong Kong, Greater China and the Asia-Pacific since 2013.
Registered as a law firm in New South Wales, and operating in close association with Robinsons (NZ) Ltd in New Zealand, our Australian practice was established to meet the growing demand for specialised, bilingual legal services that bridge Australia’s legal system and those of Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area, and beyond.
We bring together lawyers and consultants who are admitted across multiple jurisdictions, who have led legal and compliance functions at major corporations, and who have managed complex cross-border transactions involving parties across Asia, Europe and the Americas.

OUR STORY

Robinsons, Lawyers traces its origins to Hong Kong, where Robinsons, Lawyers was founded in 2013. Over the following decade, the firm built a distinguished reputation in corporate law, securities, cross-border investment and dispute resolution — earning recognition from ALB Asia and developing a network spanning more than ten jurisdictions worldwide.

In 2023, Mr Alun Pang joined Robinsons, Lawyers in Hong Kong as a consultant, bringing deep expertise in Australian and New Zealand law, and a rich portfolio of cross-border transactional experience built through major in-house and private practice roles across Asia and the Pacific.

In 2025, Robinsons, Lawyers formalised its Pacific presence with the establishment of Robinsons (AU) Pty Ltd and Robinsons (NZ) Ltd — both registered with their respective law societies and led by principals admitted to practice in multiple jurisdictions.
